I am a bagaholic & a great fan of Mulberry of which I have a large collection. However, I now have a debilitating illness & my lifestyle has changed & is limited so I don't get chance to use most of my fabulous bags.
I have 2 MULBERRY BAGS of THIS DESIGN. The other - a cream version - had its maiden voyage with me on a trip to The Seychelles. I loved it even more than I thought I would (the bag as well as the holiday!) & carried on using it for months afterwards. It receives many compliments & positive comments even from strangers

N.B. photographed whilst bag was empty so it will not look as "full-bodied" as it would in use
when taken by friends to see Bicester outlet village, I COULD NOT RESIST a visit to the MULBERRY STORE there. I'd been so pleased with my cream TROUT bag, I asked if they had any in stock (had tried other Mulberry stores without success) & was thrilled to be shown this OSTRICH TROUT. It was EXPENSIVE at £3,150 even from the official Mulberry outlet but I couldn't resist!
I recently came across the RECEIPT so will happily include this to provide proof of purchase & cost

gold metal plaque on front of bag engraved with MULBERRY LOGO & "MULBERRY . . EST.1971"
held in place by typical MULBERRY logo rivets which are used throughout

detachable & adjustable cross-body strap
on close inspection with magnifying glass I noticed 2 very slight hairline scratches to this plaque but mention only as part of my policy of full declaration as they are not deep or significant
has full width/depth exterior slip pocket running along back of bag
opening front flap reveals 2 pockets in front of main compartment of bag - each taking up half the width of the bag
triple leather carry handle (strong but lightweight) has top layer of plaited leather - comfortable to hold (in my opninion)
soft suede black lining throughout
main compartment has slip pocket to front
back of compartment houses large zipped compartment trimmed in black leather
below inner compartment pocket zip is a black leather plaque bearing the name of "MULBERRY"
BUCKLED FRONT FLAP i.e. buckle effect fasteners each operated by a "postman's lock"
buckle straps are secured by circular balls bearing the MULBERRY TREE LOGO
signature D ring either side of bag holds the removable shoulder strap
the shoulder strap is adjustable by means of a buckle
a second D ring on one side can be used for keys & adds to the trim - placed below 1st D ring
on other side, in place of 2nd D ring is a circular metal disc engraved on 1 side with the Mulberry logo & on the other with the bag's unique serial number 1667483
