ANTIQUE HAND EMBROIDERED SILK ON FINE NETTING YARDAGE 90 INCHES...FAB!

Description

This is a fabulous antique (C1910) 90 inches of hand embroidered silk on fine, fine tulle (netting) from a collection.  The running floral design and detailing is wonderful..silk satin stitch, french knots and other fine techniques are used in this piece..It is 90 inches long with embroidery end to end, and 4 inches wide. Handwork such as this is becoming so rare and when found usually in terrible condition.
A couple of my pics show the back side (handwork) as well as the front, the details are amazing. And the color is lighter than my pics..
Condition is wonderful for its age....there are a few small pin size holes in the very fine tulle, but the embroidery is perfect. Whatever it was taken from must have been something really special..and there is plenty to work with for another special piece.(ex: wedding veil edging)
