Vintage Silver Mica Capacitors SRC 750V High Working Voltage

I have been amazed by the performance of these capacitors. They are not as pretty as modern ones and the leads may need cleaning before soldering but out of hundreds tested, I have not found a single capacitor that is out of specification. In fact the opposite is true and values appear closer to 5% accuracy. I have used these in input pi-network of a linear amplifier and they sit all day at 100 watts without any sign of temperature rise.

The high working voltages makes them useful for RF power applications in amplifiers and filters. Modern high value high voltage mica capacitors are expensive so these items offer the opportunity for reasonable price home brew contruction as well as restoration of old equipment.

These are thin plate waxed types with flat leads that look silvered.
