This is a custom enhanced version of Final Fantasy 6 Advance for the Game Boy Advance. The music, sound effects, and graphics have been restored to the quality of the Super Nintendo (SNES) version. The original GBA version had poorly ported music with bad audio quality and brightened, washed out colors to compensate for the first Game Boy Advance system lacking a backlit screen.

This enhanced version has all the music and sound effects imported from the Super Nintendo version. The major part of the opera scene is also fully orchestrated and voiced. The game also has a restored (darker) color palette that matches the color and brightness in the Super Nintendo version. See the last photo for comparison screenshots. These enhancements combined with the improvements present in the Advance version like the bonus dungeons, SNES bug fixes, and new translation make this arguably the definitive version of Final Fantasy 6.

A complete save file is on the cartridge with the Music Player unlocked where you can play back all of the music from the game on demand. Normally you would need to complete the entire game to unlock the Music Player. 

Flash memory is used for saving, not a battery. Tested and saving works.

Game cartridge only, includes a small protective cart case. Photos are of the actual item. Based on the original European release, the game is playable in 5 languages: English, German, French, Italian and Spanish.

Game Boy Advance cartridges are region free and work in the following systems: Game Boy Advance, Game Boy Advance SP, Game Boy Micro, original Nintendo DS, and Nintendo DS Lite. Best experienced on a GBA SP AGS-101 or DS Lite with headphones.
