What you see in the photographs is exactly what you will receive. 


Prussian (KPEV) S-10 steam engine and 5 privately owned cars painted and lettered for the "Compagnie Internationale des Wagons-Lits / International Sleeping Car Company" (CIWL). 2 baggage cars in a brown paint scheme, 1 dining car in a brown paint scheme and 2 coach cars in a beige/brown paint scheme. The models are finely constructed with many separately applied details. The cars have different color interiors and factory-installed interior lighting. The locomotive has lights.

The cars and locomotive look as they did between 1909 - 1922 before the steel coaches were introduced and are very historically significant. 

The First and Second Armistice at Compiègne were signed in a teak CIWL coach.

Loco and coaches were tested on DC track and function correctly with lights and motion. This set includes all original instructions, papers and 5 sets of printed signage for use on the cars.


This set was manufactured between 1986-1993 and is VERY DIFFICULT TO FIND IN EXCELLENT CONDITION with no broken or missing parts.
