Ludlow printers wooden Mats( Matrices) Case/Drawer/Tray.

Original  handle in good condition and is Brass

Metal drawer front is in good condition.

The case sections,( made from single pieces of wood fixed together) are in really good condition  

Sizes are 20" wide x 24" long and then the back runners are another 5" out so length in total is 29"

The mechanism to fix it into the cabinet is complete and  has some surface rust.

I would say for its age , it  is in really good condition.  These fitted into a large cabinet...20 of them in each cabinet.

I do have some complete cabinets with 20 trays/drawers in, if anyone is interested, please message me.

For Arty people, these have been sold to display coins, lego, cottons,screws, buttons, thimbles, shells etc to name but a few things that we all collect!some people have varnished them, others have  painted them white, and hung on the wall. I have sold them to artists who can add to the look and make a work of art from it! They are a bit like a type case only smaller. This one has 98 sections. There are two different size compartments in this one 33mm x 38mm, & 33mm x 62mm 

A full cabinet of 20 drawers has been used to store sewing and craft items.

Collection is fine or I will wrap it very well and send it courier.
