Quickbooks POS will be a fully licensed lifetime version registered in your name. You will have to license the product when you use it the first time, so you will need a wireless internet connection. The license registration process takes 5 minutes and is free, at the end of the registration, you will receive your product key and license number from Intuit.

You can also choose to upgrade to a higher version with purchase order and advanced inventory management for a discounted price because you will already be a registered user.
