HOUGHTONS FOLDING SCOUT CAMERA This was sold by Houghtons around 1904/5 and was most likely imported from Krugener in Germany. It's for 6x9 images on roll or plate, but there are no plates with it. No names at all on the camera. Krugener is the closest I think fits if you compare the shutter and fittings and seems to be the consensus from what I can tell. It's in reasonably good condition although there is some wear and tear as you can see in the photos. The shutter fires OK and the bellows are good as is the lens. One of the 'springs' that help retain the roll film in place is missing a piece but it still does the job. The carry strap is missing as is the catch on the wind mechanism (It still winds OK).
