At The Farm, we take actual pictures of each instrument and make sure they are fully set-up and ready to play before we ship them. Each instrument goes through a multi-point inspection, followed by a set-up process by our in-house tech staff. We then photograph each instrument with high-quality equipment in our on-site photography studio. We know that details like wood grain and color finishes can vary, so we want you to be able to see, to the best of our ability, exactly what you will be receiving.
This process takes over an hour for each instrument - from inspection to pictures. We care about the instrument we put into your hands! Rest assured your guitar was not just plucked off of a shelf and drop-shipped to you from a warehouse without the care that it, and you, deserve.
The Martin Custom X 000CXE acoustic electric guitar combines that world famous Martin sound with the contemporary playability of an electric guitar. The 000CXE acoustic electric guitar features the 000 platform and a smaller body design than the traditional Dreadnought, producing full, robust sound. The body is constructed with
Martin’s forest-friendly Jett Black HPL to give you an attractive visual look.
This guitar was crafted to be a “player's dream.” The 000CXE features a very playable laminate Birch neck, with a modified low oval neck shape. This precision-cut neck has fast FSC Certified Richlite fretboard, and a 1-11/16” nut width, to give you a comfortable spacing between the strings. Additional features include sealed chrome tuners, and a custom rosette.
This Martin Custom X 000CXE comes complete with a Fishman F1 onboard preamp/tuner. You’ll have a studio-quality sound right out of the box.

This guitar is required to be listed as seller refurbished by the manufacturer. It has been completely checked over by The Music Farm team, and also by the largest manufacturer refurbishing center in America. Buying one of these guitars is almost like buying a brand new guitar, but getting a huge savings on it!
Most of these instruments do not have any visible defects. If there is a visible defect it will be indicated in pictures and in the description. These guitars do not carry the original manufacturer warranty, and in order to prevent invalid warranty claims they are lightly stamped “USED” or “2nd” on the back of the headstock, and the original serial number has been replaced with a new serial number from the refurbishing center.
