This is a Real piston removed from an actual working V8 Scania so quite big and heavy and makes the car piston lamps available on this site look like toys,
this Piston has done over a million Miles (1.4 million Kilometres)
When The engine died I was given the task of rebuilding it , , Sadly it was beyond repair,
I acid cleaned then hand polished the piston before converting it to a lamp,
The Bulbs used in the pictures are for demonstration purposes and are NOT included in the sale
the required bulb is an ES27 or E27 (standard size screw in bulb).
The lamp is fully earthed it has a factory sealed on plug it is correctly fused at 3 amps.
This is quite a Large Piston its 12.6 cm across the top, and weighs 2.6 kilos around 6.5 LBS.
If its going into a commercial setting I can get it p.a.t tested,  (ON REQUEST), Just send me a message when You purchase, however this will delay despatch by around 2 days.
This is a UK spec lamp and comes fitted with a UK plug if its being used in other countries You will need to get an adapter or change the plug.
