this is for the unit and attached power cord. no remote is included. the unit is in good condition overall with some minor scratches here and there and a bit of sticker residue. it powers on great and plays both vhs tapes and dvds great and responds to a remote just fine ( again the remote is not included in this listing).
I tried the recording feature to record from a vhs to blank dvd, but couldn't get it work (it said vhs is protected and cant copy) but I was using a regular commercial copy protected vhs movie as opposed to a blank recordable vhs tape. I think it would work fine if I had a blank vhs tape to test it with. as a result the recording features are probably working just fine, I just can't test them with my limited equipment.  no other functions regarding the tuner or memory card features were tested. the unit is sold as is and all sales are final. Shipping will be $25.
