This little young scarlet tanager paid a visit outside the back door. He was so pretty sitting near my bucket of tomatoes.  A bit young to be on his own.  Hopefully my cat does not find him before he flies up to a safe place.  The saw blade is varnished. it should stay beautiful for many years.
