Vintage 6mm Round Cultured Pearl Necklace Hand Knotted 9ct Gold Clasp 43cm

This listing is for a beautiful set of vintage cultured pearls with a 9ct yellow gold clasp.  The 6mm pearls are a very good quality and have a beautiful lustre, a round shape and a thick nacre which gives the white colour with pink overtones.  Each pearl is hand knotted and the necklace has a 9ct marked gold clasp.  

The value of pearls is contingent on many factors and increases almost exponentially with quality.  Factors that influence value of pearls are size, lustre, nacre and colour.  These pearls are an very good quality as detailed below:

Lustre: The pearls have a beautifully shiny lustre and a white colour with pink overtones. 

Nacre: The colour on these pearls is created by a thick nacre that causes the light to bend and refract.  The nacre is almost perfect with just a few minor natural imperfections.

Colour: The Pearls have a white colour with overtones of pink. The colour is consistent throughout the necklace with very minor natural variations.

Shape: The pearls are perfect rounds and consistent throughout the necklace 

Clasp: The clasp marked "375" for 9ct gold. 

Testing: The pearls are genuine cultured pearls and have been verified with a jewellers loop. The pearls have very minor small imperfections which is evidence they are natural.  

Measurements: The necklace measures 43cm in length.  Each pearl has a diameter of approx 6mm.

Weight: The necklace weighs 20g.

Condition: The necklace is in excellent vintage condition. I cannot see any damage to the nacre of the pearls.  They have a very deep lustre and have been well cared for.
