Projection optics and large-format cameras are a wonderful combination: Large, fast apertures yielding beautiful out-of-focus renderings and generous coverage, at a fraction of the cost of an Aero-Ektar, Xenotar, or other high-end exotic fast lenses. However, mounting these projection lenses onto cameras is usually a hassle, as they very often come without any sort of flange or other means to put the lens into a lensboard. This lens comes with that problem solved.

Mounted in a 3D printed lensboard with integrated clamp designed especially for the 200mm f/3.2 Buhl, this setup is rigid, light tight, and fits perfectly. Lens has been inspected and is free of fungus, haze, and other defects (some cleaning and/or minor coating marks on front element and some internal dust, but this has no outcome on images). Multiple lenses are available and the exterior cosmetic condition may vary slightly, but the glass in each copy is satisfactory and inspected. Fully assembled and ready-to-shoot on the Graflex Pacemaker Speed Graphic and Crown Graphic. Please see sample photos in listing.

Includes:

Buhl Optical Co. 200mm f/3.2 Projection Lens (Leitz Hektor optical scheme)
3D printed lensboard with integrated clamp and m3 hardware

Camera body is not included in this auction. If interested in this lens mounted for other applications (Graflex Anniversary Speed Graphic, Graflex Series D/Super D, etc.) please contact me. I also manufacture lensboards from wood and plastic for a number of other difficult-to-mount lenses––feel free to ask questions! Thanks for looking!
