This listing is for the FT290RII. It comes with Matching clip-on 25W FL-2025 linear Amplifier.

2 Metre Multimode Transceiver - 144-146MHz  FM/SSB/CW   2.5w low  25W high

The original illumination always annoyed me as it was about as bright as a TOC H lamp so I replaced

with a white LED and the effects are self evident. There are a few age related marks but nothing of

note. I tended to use these as band monitors in the shack although I used this 290R in the RSGB backpackers

events for a couple of years on the low power setting  to a 10 ele yagi and it was very effective.

I've added some stick-on feet on the base to avoid scratching other equipment. The red

plastic cover on the top left is a push-on dust cover for the BNC connector.
