The DX Chogokin Future Combination Daltanious was released by Popy in 1979.

Beralious is a robotic lion and forms the torso and upper legs of Daltanious. This particular lion was sold as a stand alone Chogokin toy with the number GB-02. Beralious has a diecast body, but the legs, head and tail are all plastic. 

The mouth opens to shoot missiles, but alas, those are missing. But the colors are still vibrant, and the joints are good and strong!
