GT Team Jelly Belly TT Road Bike

This is a stunning frame made especially for Team Jelly Belly for the 2009 Amgen Tour of California. Only 12 Frames were ever made. Never available at retail. GT Bikes briefly served as team sponsor and bike supplier for Team Jelly Belly professional cycling team during the 2008-2009 seasons and their team road frame was the GT GTR. GT didn't have a Time Trial frame in their lineup but GT's parent company Cannondale Group also owned other bike brands at the time. This frame is rumored to be a Giant, Cannondale or supplier frame that was painted and branded as a GT especially for Team Jelly Belly.

This frame and SRAM Red TDF Edition groupset, Easton EC90 TT wheelset, Profile Cobra areo bars and stem & other components are in great condition. The frame has some scratches and nicks as you would expect from for a bike that was raced a few times but there are no cracks or damage to the carbon. A few areas on the dropouts and a few nicks have been touched up with matching white paint. Please note that the pedals and saddle in the photos are NOT included in this auction.

The build with the SRAM Red TDF Tour Yellow Edition groupset and Easton Aero TT Tubular wheelset really makes this bike an outstanding looker with a super smooth ride and amazingly quick handling. This is one fast machine suitable for road, crit, time trial or Triathlon.
