Up for auction is:  6 spools of vintage silver  French fly tying tinsel.

It is silver in color and flat or oval wound and embossed shapes .  Please refer to the photos for details.

 These are the real deal metal tinsels used to tie the classic patterns when Mylar or modern tinsels are not an option. This tinsel has not been re-spooled and is on its original wooden spool. Each spool has been weighed in both ounces and grams. The weight of the wooden spool has not been tared out and is included in the listed weight.  Because of their age some spools are tarnished on the outside wraps of the spool. Worry not,  as underneath exists yards and yards of unaffected material. Please refer to the photos for the size and shape of each tinsel.
