C.P. Goerz Berlin Dogmar 1: 4,5 F=10cm 591964 D.R.P. Lens

On a Zeiss Ikon Compur shutter

condition:

vintage camera has wear and tear nearly 100 years old, shutter function appears to work, but it is slow at times, aperture appears to be ok as well, good over all shape. Does have light mildew smell. but looks clean inside the bellows as well as out side.  Great shelf camera includes the old pack of film attached.

Notes:

Has a switch at the base to release the bed camera and allow it to move backwards.

These were made from 1912-1926. this is probable one of the last model II's.

In 1926 the German branch of Goerz was kept from bankruptcy by merging with Contessa-Nettel, Ernemann and ICA, which became Zeiss Ikon.

This ended the manufacturing of the famed Dagor lenses.

This model takes  6.5x9cm plates, a cool folding camera.

it is the same as a regular Taro-Tenax 6.5x9cm , but this model has a double extension.
