FSA Gossamer BB386EVO chainset - single chainring version with 40t ABS Megatooth chainring. Comes with a BSA30 threaded bottom bracket and seals.

I purchased this as a New (Other) chainset which was removed from a new bike before it was ridden. I then fitted it to a bike and then never rode that either! I disassembled the bike and have sold or reused most of the parts, the chainset and bottom bracket being the last of the parts.

There is a mark around the spindle where I installed the crank and BB and then used a BB cable guide bolt that was too long. There is a small dent to the sleeve of the BB and a mark on the spindle. I can't see how this impacts performance. Any marks to the chainring teeth (or the crank and BB for that matter) are only from fitting, removal and storage.
