This Auction is for a 1950's All Chrome Tilley Guardsman Lantern. All Gaskets, Pips, Cleaning Wire and Pump Leather were replaced with New. The Old Style Lug Frame was Re-Sprayed in the Original Hi-Heat Silver Paint. This Frame is Very Heavy Duty , Straight and Very Sturdy. The Hood and Burner on This Chrome Guardsman were replaced with a New Old Stock one and are perfect. The Burner Gives off a Strong Beautiful White Light with a 164X Mantle. The Vaporizer has a New Cleaning wire and puts out a strong Jet of Kerosene to the burner. The Control Cock turns with ease.  The Glass is Original Tilley 171 Glass and is Crack and Chip free. This Tilley Guardsman comes with the Lifting Pre-Heater Making Start up Very Easy.

The Best feature of this Vintage 1950 Tilley Guardsman is the near Perfect Tank. This All Chrome Tank is as Perfect as you can get for an Original 1950 Chrome Tilley Guardsman. There is No Visible Pitting or Dents. The Tank Holds Great Pressure and This 1950's All Chrome Tilley Guardsman works Like New. This is a True 1950 Guardsman in All Chrome which is Hard to find in This near Perfect condition. It has been Shined and Waxed to protect the Chrome Finish and make This guardsman the Perfect outdoor lantern. This Chrome Guardsman is a Heavy, Rugged Well built Lantern. the type they do not make anymore.

This Tilley would be Great for the Outdoors, Camping or for Emergencies because it Puts out a Great amount of Light and is Very Easy to Use.

I do not have a Big inventory of Chrome Tillie's so This will be My Only One for Sale. Tilley Guardsman's in Chrome are Hard to find especially in this near Perfect condition.
