This is an upgrade kit for the Dell PowerEdge SC1430. This kit comes with everything you will need to turn your SC1430 into a Two - Quad Core 3GHz system.  Yes that's 8 total cores. Includes: Two Intel Xeon 3GHz  X5365 SLAED CPUs One tube of thermal Paste. One Genuine Intel Xeon case sticker. One Chempad® for cleaning your heat sinks One anti ESD grounding wrist strap These Quad Core CPUs only work in the newer SC1430's.  To check if you are one of the lucky ones, open up your SC1430 and make sure.  There is a thin white label between the PCI slots on the motherboard.  The second number will include either UW816 or HD812.  Such as CN-OUW816-. UW816, 0TW856 (PR704), you can use the Quad Core or Dual Core CPUs. HD812 (TM894),  you can only use the Dual Core CPU's up to 3.7GHz.  If you are not sure whether or not your Poweredge is one of the quad core capable ones, it's very advised that you buy the 3.7GHz Dual Core set which works perfectly in all SC1430's.
