Description

An authentic antique Pre Columbian Mayan Jade necklace, late classic period (500-950 AD), composed of 43 stone beads of tubular, round, flat, and barrel-shaped forms.  There are speckled jaguar and spotted beads.  The ancient beads are strung on a sterling silver necklace with a sterling clasp which is marked 925.  Sterling round and square beads are interspersed with the ancient jade.
  
CONDITION: This is a museum quality ancient object in perfect condition. The necklace is 31 inches (79 cm) long.  The central bead is 3/4 inch (20mm) long.  The necklace weighs 180 grams.
