This year saw the 1st Battalion Irish Guards Troop their Colour.  It was the first time since 1939 that only 6 Guards were on Parade.  The Escort and No 2 Guard were found by The 1st Battalion Irish Guards, No 3 and 4 Guard by 2nd Battalion Coldstream Guards and No 5 and 6 Guard by 1st Battalion Welsh Guards.
The Colour being Trooped today was presented to the Irish Guards 2 years ago at Windsor Castle. There are two new Drum Horses taking part in the ceremony for the first time today.
