Antique EXOTIC WOOD DESK BOX WITH SILVER PLATE INLAY - GAME BIRDS

Wonderful exotic wood box featuring a silver plate inlay of fighting game birds. Box measures approx 5 1/4" x 6 7/8" x 2 1/2". Small spot of loss to trim on back corner (see photo). Overall condition is very good and solid. I used some Old English to polish this piece as the front was a bit dry - still shows a little dry and small lacquer loss when turned to the light on lower front panel. Hand written notation on the inside panel as to 1921 date and maker. Fine old box - a beauty for your collection.
