The Ashington is a footwear-based homage to midfield maestro Bobby Charlton. It's named after the Northumberland town he was born in, and it's roughly based on the sort of boots he used to play in. Luckily it's got a more normal sole though. No one wants to be clomping around the town centre in football boots.
