Automatic Recording & Power On: When connected via the included cigarette plug adapter cable, the TwinCam powers on automatically and starts recording. However, you can use the clearly labeled power and recording buttons to manage recording yourself. The LCD record icon lets you know the moment the camera is recording, so you're never in doubt. If the connection with the cigarette plug is interrupted, the built-in battery buffer takes over, offering a temporary connection buffer in case of an accidental disconnect or car accident which causes power loss. The camera saves the recorded files automatically before shutting down, so you don't have to worry about losing a recording. Furthermore, when the buffer battery is low, the camera alerts you via the LCD screen before automatically powering down.
