 previously owned and heavily used chrome Zippo  FLIP-top Gold-tone image of W.A. BOYLE, the president of the United Mine Workers of America.
with no ZIPPO training, unable to assess, authenticate, clean or repair this lighter. 
this is a RARE 1968  ZIPPO  Lighter  lll-lll** Displaying UMWA's W.A. Boyle at the 1968 Convention.

the top is detached.  the strike wheel rolls smoothly, it sparks, but requires cleaning.

As can be seen in the Pictures, there is wear from use and possible aging.
this one is a used  limited 1968 Zippo pocket lighter (the more common one is displayed with black imaging on chrome); and this one is the LIMITED pale/yellowish gold tone on chrome image and lettering.
The back case has Delegate, 45th Constitutional Convention, UMWA, Denver, Colorado, September 4-13, 1968;
