Selling my Visconti Ripple in Sterling silver (stamped 925 just below the cap) with a blue coating. This is a beautiful pen but please see pictures. This pen is one I have used heavily over the past two years and has micro scratches on the barrel as well as a dent in the barrel that you can see in the fourth picture. THe pen has a 18 K gold medium nib and is a great writer. I have never had this pen skip. On the flip side this pen lives up to Visconti reputation because I found the ink to flow very very well. It will feather on poor quality paper. The nib is smooth and with a double reservoir power filler it holds a lot of ink but the pen is quite heavy. I have written five pages of notes at a time and had to stop while writing to give my hand a break. Coming with the pen is the big box from Visconti. Its a heavy fake wood looking box. Its big and its beautiful however the box was cracked next to the lid hinge, but it still looks good. In the box are the pen, booklets, original plastic packaging, metal plate for custom engraving, as well as a crystal Visconti ink well. There is a small bit of dry ink between metal lip and the crystal but it is still stunning to have on your desk. I will say this about the ink well, if you are not an avid user of that color ink it will evaporate in time. It looks beautiful but will not keep ink for months and months on end.
Below are the specs for the pen.

This large Visconti Ripple fountain pen is 5.875" long capped, 5.5" long uncapped and 7.5" long posted. The Ripple is over .625" in diameter at the widest point of its cap.

If you have any questions please let me know and I will get back with you as soon as possible. I will be on vacation from June 25th to July 1st.
