The only scratches are on the viewer and those are all on the screen saver. So with a new little screen saver piece of plastic this would be flawless. I only mention this because they are there, but rest assured this camera is flawless. I' m leaving it on, the new owner can replace it down the line when it's really needed. Comes with a good used battery and its charger. Owners manual, too. No box.
