This kit comes with everything you will need to turn your single Xeon CPU PowerEdge 1900, 2900 gen II, III into a Two - Quad Core 3.0 GHz system.  Yes that's 8 total cores.

If you have a Gen 1 model, the fastest CPU pair for you is the Dual Core 3.73GHz which we also sell.

Includes:

• Two Intel Xeon 3.0 GHz (X5365) 8MB cache Quad Core CPUs.
• One PowerEdge 1900/2900/2900 II heat sink model KC038.
• One tube of EverCool Sidewinder Thermal Paste
• One Genuine Intel Core 2 Quad case sticker (not pictured).

Only the Gen II or Gen III can use these CPUs.  The gen I can only use the 51xx version CPUs up to 3.7GHz Dual core which we also sell.

Just remove the front cover faceplate and on the lower left corner there is a little roman numeral.
Numeral designates the series and will be nothing (I), II or III.

We give a one month warranty (upon shipping arrival) on all of our items which is long enough to have it installed and know that it is working perfectly. If for some reason the product becomes faulty after this date, we will still work with you on a solution.
