CRAFTMANSHIP AND MASTERY
In our Florentine laboratories we select for you only the best materials. From metals to leather, from crystals to suede, from stones to brass, everything is strictly environmentally friendly handcrafted. At the same location we personally follow any production process' step: raw wood is skillfully carved by our expert manpower, which shapes it and converts it into what will be the basis of a new creation. The only components coming from abroad are the automatic watches' rotors, that arrive at our labs straight from Switzerland, and fine veneers from Africa and USA keep us provided of. Any other raw material comes from Italy and is worked in Florence: under the same roof every work is carried out, from raw wood to the finished product.

Looking around we realize that luxury, today, is considered as monopoly of the big names that have stores all over the world and offer, in every Country, the same lines and collections. But those huge volumes that they propose move them away from the concept of refinement, preciousness, craftsmanship. That's why we believe that luxury - the real one - has to be found in those companies that, like us, are able to offer unique products and adapt their work perfectly to your needs.

In 1949, the newly married couple Pia and Osvaldo Agresti opened a leather workshop in the centre of Florence, inspired by the leather manufacturing present in the Santa Croce district since the Middle Ages. Since the beginning, they have expressed their creativity through chests and jewelry cases covered in leather and decorated with gold thread, a traditional Florentine technique. When the 1966 flood completely destroyed their store, the Agresti couple opened a second workshop specializing in secure jewelry cases, replacing the leather with precious woods. Today, the company is run by Paolo and his wife Francesca, who continue the artisan tradition of boxes and chests, combining high end technology with a profound knowledge of Florentine craftsmanship.
