Screw Down Crowns: Many Invicta watches are equipped with a screw down crown to help prevent water infiltration.
This is most common on our Diver models.
In order to adjust the date and/or time on such a watch,
you must first unscrew the crown before you can gently pull it out to its first or second click stop position.
To do this, simply rotate the crown counterclockwise until it springs open.
When you have finished setting the watch, the crown must then be pushed in and screwed back in tightly.
i needed a cheap watch that looked decent. recently quit my iphone after 8 years and becoming a more retro person. this watch exceeded my expectatons. i actually own a real rolex ( not a diver watch) and it is silver and has not ran in 4 years. last time i had it repaired it cost me 500 bucks and it is still laying in my jewelry box. I wasn't looking for a knock off, but i have had 3 or four unsolicited comments from co workers i know are the type that are obsessed with fancy cars, jewlery, handbags etc. Many years ago when i was wealthy I used to be like that as well. Now I still love to look great but buying a watch for 3000 buck will never happen again. My point is, i bought this as an everyday work watch and it keeps great time, has not scratched and is comfortable. Very classy understated watch, again it far exceeded mu expectations and i am now shooping for a similar one in gold. this was the first time i ever bought an invicta and the only reason i got one is because a wealthy (yes, really) friend of mine who i saw almost everyday due to a work project always had on these beautiful watches. He must have had a dozen of themHe is from Italy and dresses impeccably and he told me he brought the invictas becasue they run very well and he can always feel great with a stylish watch.
