Bad news first. Last year I side swiped a tree in the driveway. It would have just been a wrinkled fender if it wasn't for the wide wheels. Front tire was pushed back, bent the control arms and cracked the transfer case. Insurance company totaled truck, I bought it back and repaired the truck myself. There was very little damage. No frame kinks/bends/twists.
Parts replaced to make the truck 100%:
Upper and lower control arms (bent)
Transfer case (replaced the whole LD unit with a HD unit that had 80K miles on it)
Headlight (replaced both so they would match)
Aftermarket fender (paint to match)
Bumper cover
Front axle was inspected and resealed (no damage). Replaced ball joints while it was apart. Truck does NOT have a salvage title. It does show-up in the vehicle report as being a total loss.
I've owned the truck since it had 84,000 mi. I would love to keep this truck, but I have a company truck and a 2005 Ram Diesel, This one's just not getting used. Truck is in SUPER shape. Tow package with brake controller. A few small dents (see pics). Rino lined below moulding and in bed. Good tires. Oil changed every 5,000 miles with Rotella and Fleetguard filters. New lift pump and genuine Cummins ReCon VP-44 a couple of years ago. Stock except for RV Bosch injectors (genuine, not aftermarket). Don't miss out on this 2nd gen Cummins.
