Description

Up for auction is an older presentation for Caron’s Fleurs de Rocaille.  It has the original cut out frilly neck piece and also the paper tag advising this is from Pat office No 16.4.476.  This perfume is known as a sophisticated floral bouquet scent that is green (aldehyde classic) and crisp and has an aromatic and elegant bouquet. Introduced in 1933.  Fleur de Rocaille is perfect for casual outings, its fresh jasmine and rose top notes give way to a trail of lily-of-the-valley and ylang-ylang, then comes with an intense scent of wood.
  • In original box that is in great condition (inside and out) however the cellophane covering the black floral picture on the lid has been broken
  • I don’t believe this bottle has been opened due to how it is packaged, and it may have lost some of the perfume due to the Texas heat.
    • But, it may have been opened at one time, as the white cut out neck piece has a little bit of fragrance spillage all around the white neck cutout close to the bottle neck
    • Black velvet ribbon under white cutout
    • Stopper does not appear to open, and so I will leave to new owner.  Fragrance is not guaranteed, but I can still smell w.o. opening the bottle due to the old spillage on the neck piece
    • Small paper label wrapped around the neck of the bottle—see last photo for information on tag
  • Good paper label on the front of the bottle
  • Underside of bottle has a white paper oval label that reads:
    • Net contents 1.97 oz Caron Corp NY Importer
  • Rectangular glass stopper has an inset of the black floral picture underneath the top of the glass
  • Underside of the bottle is nicely polished- I do not see a Baccarat marking
  • Dimensions of the bottle are:  2.5 inches tall and 2 5/8 inches wide
Fantastic presentation!
