You are bidding on an astonishing and rare 4/4 violin. The violin is about 80 years old and comes probably from Italy. The violin has a beautiful tone and you would love it. This violin is preserved in a very great condition, so you would need to invest only into some new strings and for further improvements maybe in a new great bridge. The violin is labeled: Pollastri Gaetano .....1926 (see the photos) 

The whole length of the violin is 597 mm and the body 361 mm. Generally speaking the top looks just amazing and the two pieces back is beautiful as a wonderful painting. There are no papers accompanying the instrument and I don't guarantee, that the violin is made by G.Pollastri.I hope the violin will find good hands.
