This is a very reluctant sale of my rare V70R AWD. 131,150 miles with road tax till 31 August 2012 and MoT till same date. The car has a full service history with most receipts as well as stamps in the service book and all bar one of the MoTs since 2002.
This is the rare Phase 3 model with only 74 sold in the UK between Sept 1999 and March 2000 and is one of only 33 in laser blue metallic. It has the larger B5244RT (2435cc) engine matched with the 5 speed auto box and twin tail pipes. It also has the BSR PPC remap allowing you to run at either 265 bhp or 310 bhp with quick switching between the two. It has dual zone climate control, cruise control, 4 electric windows, electric sunroof, heated mirrors, pas, electric front seats with 3 memory settings for the driver and heated front seats. There are parking aids at the rear, an SC901 sound system ( though the 3 cd stacker is not loading properly ), luggage cover, dog cage that allows half luggage and half dog area, Volvo retracting tow bar (hardly used) and Dunlop SP Sport Maxx tyres (two new, two at 5mm).
All the MoTs except 2007 are present. The service history is excellent with stamps and almost every receipt. The first six services were at Volvo main agents: 1/2001 at 17810; 1/2002 at 26265; 12/2002 at 38422; 12/2003 at 48922; 9/2004 at 57360; 7/2006 at 71846. Then the history continues at other garages and specialists: 2/2007 at 80576; 1/2008 at 91969; 11/2008 at 100047; 7/2009 at 109453; 7/2010 at 121424; 8/2011 at 130386. The cambelt was changed in 2/2007 at 80576; the angle gear on the 4 wd system at 84202 in 7/2007; the steering rack in 9/2008.
The car is in excellent condition driving very well in every respect and the body work is also very good with just a couple of minor blemishes but it is 12 years old.

Thank you to the scores of people who have phoned me or sent emails. Because you are all asking virtually the same questions I thought I would save us all time by adding this information. This is the rare V70R AWD phase 3 model that was one of the last Volvos made before the Ford regime. As such it does have a premium over the earlier models which had a lower spec (mostly engine performance, 5 speed auto box etc). It is quite possible to find a really good one of the earlier models for two or three thousand but I originally put a reserve of £4100 on this car. I will now lower it to £3500 as some of you have said you would be interested at that price. If it does not reach that then I will be happy to keep it and sell another of my cars instead. Thanks, Hugh
