Christmas Delivery Schedule: Well its that time of year again, andfrom all of us here at Fishingmad thank you for your support and we wish you a very merry Christmas and a Happy New year. This year the 21st of December will be the last day before Christmas that the Courier and Post Office will be picking up from us for delivery before Christmas. The next collection will take place on the 27th for delivery on the 28th of Dec and normal service resumes on the 3rd of Jan.

Delivery Schedule: We deliver your order right away. We will normally send your order to you in 1-2 business days. International orders are generally received in under 14 days.

Back Orders: If your item is not in stock, we may back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

I don't know how you feel but I absolutely LOVE receiving parcels by post. It can be quite exciting to open up the package to see what's inside. Almost as good as Christmas :-)

Equally, it's rather horrible to discover that something is missing, damaged or incorrect and have all the hassle of demanding a refund or getting the items replaced. So we do our best to ensure that you receive what you order as quickly as possible and without problems.

We don't want to spoil your enjoyment.

But sometimes things do go wrong, despite our best intentions. We have to rely on people who are not employed by us.

When brothers Dave and Sandy Buchanan opened a two pool trout fishery in 1984 at Newmill Trout Farm, little did they realize how the complex would expand into one of the busiest fishing venues in Scotland, Newmill Trout Fishery and its Fishing Equipment Sales arm “Fishingmad” and now comprises of 100 acres of land with 8 fishing pools, 3,000 sq/ft tackle shop and cafe complete with 6,000 sq/ft of warehousing and employing 10 full time staff.

We are open seven days a week ,and callers are welcome to stop by, or telephone for friendly advice on any aspect of fishing.

Newmill lies almost equidistant between Glasgow and Edinburgh, 3 miles north of Lanark on the A706.
