The car we are about to describe is the most amazing find our company has had in the last few years. Constantly prospecting for unique 914s it is not uncommon for us to turn up the most amazing low mile and rare examples ever seen in the world of the 914. As you all know we have by far the best 914 collection in the world and know these cars better than anyone in the world. Found in the possession of a failing health lady who had owned it since 1972 and she in turn purchasing it from the original West Palm Beach owner, only 52,796 miles have ever been driven, the car possessing its original spare, factory tool kit, maintenance record, and jack. The dealer installed Blaupunkt Frankfurt Am Fm works great. An original paint car with just the smallest bit of paint touch up done, it certainly, after all of these years needs an exterior respray, but as you can see by the many pictures, this car has never ever been rusted nor wrecked, and is an original pallet upon which the restoration artist could truly create a masterpiece. So original is this car that in servicing it for the first time in several years, we replaced the original factory shifter and bell crank bushings, and while under the car remarked about the amazing condition of the factory heat exchangers. Even the original battery tray, although rusted, is intact and standing tall! The oil, brake fluid, transmission fluid, and fuel has been changed and several oil leaks addressed including the valve covers and one oil line, but we left all of the original patina on this car so you the new owner can witness the joy of its first unveiling after all of these years.
