Polarised prescription driving sunglasses, with interchangeable lenses. Drive from Rapid Eyewear house your prescription lenses in an Rx insert, which sits behind interchangeable tinted lenses that provide optimised viewing in all light conditions. The lenses supplied include polarised and night-driving options.

The Frame
Made from tough, lightweight polycarbonate. The wrap-around styling prevents unwanted light intrusion from the peripheries of your vision. A TR90 Rx insert houses the prescription lenses.

Lenses
The lenses supplied have the following specifications:

* Category 0, for use in dark or poor light conditions. An AR coating removed glare from oncoming vehicle headlamps
* Category 2, beige, polarised for fairly bright conditions
* Category 3, grey polarised mirror, for sunny conditions

All lenses have an anti-scratch coating, and are decentred for optimum calibration. The tinted lenses attach onto the main frame by means of small spring clips. The lens can be flipped up for momentary 'normal' viewing, with no tint, when required.

Accessories
The hard carry case supplied has belt fixing loops and catches, plus internally stitched pouches that allow for easy storage of spare lenses. A neck / head strap and lint-free cleaning cloth are also supplied.

Adding Your Prescription
Your optician will be able to add your prescription to these sunglasses, or we can do it for you at a highly competitive price. Please note these sunglasses will only work for strengths of up to plus or minus 4.5. If in doubt, please contact us and we will be happy to help.

If you would like us to add your prescription lenses, please choose the relevant option from the drop-down menu before completing your purchase. Note that varifocal (progressive) and prismatic lenses can only be added by your own optician.

Once we receive confimation of your purchase, we will email you a simple form to fill in with your prescription details.

Conformity
All Rapid Eyewear sunglasses conform to ISO 12312 and US Z80.3 standards for sports safety eyewear. They offer 100% UVA / UVB protection.
