In our auctions you get all the details, both good and bad. In addition you are always welcome to come check this quad out and ride/inspect it for yourself before the auction ends to ensure your happiness. ATV:

This is a very nice 2011 Polaris Sportsman XP 850 X2 Twin EFI 4x4 Utility ATV. These are mean big bore machines. It is a liquid-cooled, 4-stroke ATV with a fully automatic transmission and offers the option of having a 2nd seat for a passenger, or a dump bed! The transmission has high and low range as well as reverse, neutral, and park.

The 850cc twin engine is an absolute power house that has all the power you would ever want. Couple all that power with four wheel independent suspension and on-demand 4 wheel drive and you have a mean machine that will do it all with ease. The High-Output 850 Twin EFI engine cranks out 77 HP. It delivers outstanding acceleration off the line with incredible power to the ground.

Sportsman XPs have Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI). EFI makes hard cold starts a thing of the past. It automatically adjusts the air/fuel ratio for temperature and altitude so it's always at the correct ratio to provide smooth power delivery as well as easy starting. No choke or carburetor to worry about. Just turn the key, put it in gear, and you're gone.

Automatic transmissions are simply the easiest way to go. Just put them in gear and hit the throttle. They automatically adjust gear ratio based on engine RPM and load. Your never in the wrong gear to do anything with a CVT (continuously variable transmission). Having the comfort of being able to do whatever you what and not having to worry about what gear your in is something that new riders will appreciate, and at the same time, adds to the enjoyment of everyday riders who can "kick back" and enjoy their ride.

Being an X2 means that this machine can either carry a second passenger, or it can have a dump bed with a tailgate. This machine is on a stretched, Sportsman Touring frame, so that the weight of the second passenger or cargo is in-front of the rear axles. This makes climbing hills way safer. The passenger also has their own raised foot pegs, which helps to keep the driver's feet clear and unobstructed, and it has separate hand holds, both of which add to the safety of this machine. The cargo bed feature acts just like any other cargo bed on the market. You can open and close the tailgate, and dump the bed at any time. However, if you choose to have a second passenger, once the seat is flipped down and the seat-back raised up, the dump feature of the cargo bed will NOT function anymore, also furthering the safety. 

True AWD keeps you moving, automatically engaging all four wheels when you need more forward traction and reverting back to 2WD when you don’t. Other ATVs use a limited-slip differential, engaging only three wheels. 

(ADC) Active Descent Control and Engine Braking System (EBS) Work together to monitor and control downhill braking to give you optimum control and smooth, even deceleration during descents. 

The Sportsman was the world’s first ATV with IRS, a feature that made it as popular as it is today. Years of innovation and relentless tuning have refined the ride to a level unmatched in the industry. Rolled Independent Rear Suspension (IRS) angles the shocks rearward for 10.25" of travel leading to a smoother ride and less squat during acceleration. Also with 12" of ground clearance you can clear bigger rocks, navigate deeper ruts, and go where other ATVs can't. 

This Polaris also has a speedometer with a digital display that shows hours, miles, trip-meter, and 4x4 vs 4x2. 

Of course it does come with a clear title. 

Condition:

This machine is in excellent condition. It only has 103 Original Miles and 19.4 Hours of run time. To see it in person you'd think it just came off the showroom floor. It was well maintained and definitely was taken care of.

The engine is perfect and fires immediately. The chassis and suspension are in excellent shape with nothing damaged, bent, or broken. 

It revs perfectly and runs great with no misses, noises, leaks, or smoke. 

The brakes all function perfectly and the suspension is nice and tight with no play in the wheel bearings, tie-rod ends, etc.

The wheels are in nice shape and the tires have plenty of life remaining.

The plastics are excellent with zero cracks, broken plastic, and/or major blemishes. There may be a scratch or tow, but we looked all over this machine and really couldn't see anything that stood out and screamed. It is hard to describe how clean and blemish free this machine is. Anyone who sees this ATV in person will truly understand how nice this Sportsman is. Overall this machine looks absolutely fantastic. 

Everything on it functions exactly as it should. This a smoking good deal on a very nice ATV. Make sure you don't miss the opportunity to own this outstanding machine.

Attention "Dealers"

We don't mind if you want to buy one of our units for resale, we know they are good deals. However, we are not a wholesaler and we do have to charge sales tax the same as if you are a retail customer. If you are a licensed powersports dealer that's one thing, otherwise we will have to charge sales tax as outlined below. Please keep this in mind when considering placing bids on our items. If you have any questions or concerns about whether or not you should or shouldn't have to pay sales tax, PLEASE call us before bidding.

Details:

Overall this is a very nice ATV that will make someone very happy. As for transaction details, We are MLS Powersports, located in Georgetown, Kentucky (40324). We are right off Interstate 75, 15 miles North of Lexington, KY and 75 miles South of Cincinnati, OH. Our preference is that you pick this machine up with cash in person, but we will also accept a certified check, or bank to bank wire transfer. It MUST be paid for (not necessarily picked up) within 7 days of the auctions close. We are willing to ship it but you must make the arrangements. If you pick this ATV up in person, we are required by law to charge you 6% Kentucky sales tax.   We will provide the winner with a KY Certificate of Sales tax paid. When you title this ATV in your home state they WILL credit the 6% back to you and you will only have to pay the difference (if there is any) to your local sales tax. (Except in West Virginia) We do this all the time, do not worry, you will not have to pay sales tax twice.

If you have it delivered to you, anywhere outside of Kentucky, you do not have to pay Kentucky sales tax but may still have to pay sales tax in your home state. The only other exception to this sales tax rule is a valid state exemption for farm/agricultural use.

We don't need a deposit but if we ship, it must be paid in full first. This machine comes with a clean title that is ready to transfer. It will also come with a bill of sale and proof of being lien free. You are welcome to inspect it as long and well as you like before finalizing the deal, but it is used and sells as-is.

Canadian Bidders:

We sell many ATV's to Canada because it saves you a lot of money. We know the paperwork requirements and what it takes to get it done. However, it is very expensive to have an ATV shipped from door to door due to customs broker fees. If you pick it up yourself or have it shipped to a border town and do your own border crossing you will save thousands vs buying in Canada. We also have a shipper we can direct you to who has many warehouses along the border where it can be shipped to and stored until you pick it up. Feel free to bid or shoot us an email for more details. We are also OK with this machine being exported anywhere else as long as you are handling the shipping.
