This chicken brooder provides gentle overhead heat for chicks as well as a warm platform for older chicks to sit on.

The heater unit itself is 6" x 9" x 1" and the legs are adjustable up to about 5" to accommodate growing chicks.

Easy clean plastic top and sturdy wood and fiberglass composite frame.  The top can be removed for extra cleaning, if needed.

The chicks are protected from contacting the heater by a plastic screen (1/4" openings) on the bottom and the solid plastic top.

Runs on safe 12 Volts DC from a CE  AC adapter (included).  Heater output is 8 Watts, wall draw is about 10 Watts.

Includes a thermal fuse that will cut power if it overheats for any reason.

Customized versions available as a special order, examples would be different sizes and battery operated or backed up units.

All units hand made in California by chicken owners and carry a 1 year warranty.
