Derrick De Marney was an English stage and film actor. He gave his best performance
as Benjamin Disraeli in Victoria the Great (1937). Other memorable roles include the
 resourceful fugitive in Alfred Hitchcock's The Girl Was Young (1937) and fortune hunting
Uncle Silas in The Inheritance (1947).
