Stunning pair (2 panels) of curtains - bespoke made to measure for its last home in very heavy upholstery weight woven flocked chenille/velvet floral damask fabric.

To be clear, you are bidding on ONE PAIR ( 2 panels) of curtains - tieback NOT included

✿ CONDITION: Offered in very good pre-owned condition with some surface dust markings to note, most are confined to the tip to header, reverse header and along the bottom of the curtains from their last place of puddle. Some condensation spotting to the lining - none have gone through to the face fabric and finally a faint level of fade to the lining and along the meeting edges, but as this is velvet chenille, the fade was incredibly hard to pick out especially when the curtains hung for the pictures. No rips, holes, pulls nor ghastly stains and definitely noooo suspect whiffs. Please do take the time to to view ALL the pictures BELOW where as always, I have picked out the worst critters and dramatically magnified.

✿ FABRIC TEXTURE/COLOUR and DESIGN: Heavy weight - this can upholster a sofa to give you and indication of its robustness :) Woven floral pattern of billowing and trailing floral blooms - these look very much like Clematis flowers to me. Large swooping swirls and scrolls almost damask influenced in their appearance. A delicious colour palette of chalky powder pink rose on a true buttermilk cream nearing pale straw backing. Farrow and Balls "NEW WHITE" for the backing and shades of "SETTING PLASTER" and "PINK GROUND" for the pattern. And as the fabric is chenille/velvet in composition, the colours will ebb through to deeper or paler in tone depending on the light source.

✿ HEADER TYPE: Pencil pleat header that retain their uncut cords so the widths of the curtains can be adjusted to suit by pulling on these cords. Perhaps the most versatile of all the header types as you control the desired and required amount of gather/ruffle. This can be used for both track and pole systems.

✿ LINING TYPE: Fully lined in what is normally referred to as standard lined with a good weight heavy cotton blend lining fabric, and as the fabric face is a good weight already, standard lined is all these really need for anything else would make the curtains far too heavy to handle I feel.

Width (side to side) along the hem (un-gathered) 334 cm or 131.5 inches

Drop (top to bottom) 217 cm or 85.4 inches (includes header but excludes a good 4 inch hem so scope to lengthen)

I strive to ensure that all my listings are honest and the item that is for sale will be the one that is in the pictures, I do not copy nor export pictures from elsewhere and on the occasion I may re-use my own pictures whereby the item pattern/print is the same etc, but will include further extra pictures of the current items condition etc.

All wordings and photographs are my own work; I do not make the font (wording) on my listings larger than normal just to fill up the space, everything that I include (often a very loooong waffle...) is vital information of the item that is for sale; so I request that you allow me to bore you with all the nitty-gritty detail ;)

I describe to the best of my abilities and sometimes do waffle on a bit only as when I list a product for sale, I am listing it from a buyers perspective; in that I personally would want as much information as possible to make an informed decision. And whilst we all have different standards and levels of expectations, I do encourage you to take the time to EXAMINE the listing in all its glory and to reach out should there be a slight shadow of doubt.

The mass proportion of what I sell are "one offs" and indeed a one of a kind find - when I say any given product is RARE .... I really mean it and it will be highly unlikely that such a product will come along anytime soon again or come along at all!! They will almost always have had been pre-owned and homed/used elsewhere, therefore , do allow for inconspicuous signs to indicate their previous life. Any significant markings, stains, blemishes, rips etc etc will always be highlighted and more than often will be accompanied by a picture of the offender(s), therefore take the time to view all the pictures. Please ensure that you have accounted for the need to have such items washed/cleaned/freshened before using. The cleaning costs is NOT my responsibility and again, this is a cost that you should factor when purchasing SECOND HAND or PRE-OWNED products.

Unless otherwise mentioned in the listing description, curtains are supplied without any hardware i.e hooks to hang.

The pictures in all my listings will have been taken in natural daylight and without the use of any artificial lighting enhancements etc. Whilst my pictures best represent the item for sale in their textures, colours and conditions etc, the pictures must be viewed as indicative of the item for sale and almost always in conjunction to the listing text. Please note that PC settings to include monitor displays and browsers settings etc will vary not to mention we all see colour differently. If colour match is crucial please get in touch and I will help assist as best I can.

✿ Shipping is to the address on your PAYPAL payment only!! I am happy to ship to an alternative address for which you will need to add this address onto your paypal and/or eBay prior to making payment.

✿ Postage is always tracked for both home & overseas - Offshore Isles, Scottish Highlands please note that there may be an additional surcharge applied by the carrier and not me. Residents in these areas, please AWAIT your invoice prior to paying otherwise your payment will be rejected and you will need to resubmit with the correct amount

✿ Shipping is through couriers such as Parcelforce or UPS etc and invariably is an all day call out. If you are not in, they will either automatically redeliver the next working day, leave a card for you to contact them to reschedule and/or deliver to a local depot/collection point nearby for you to pick up. Should their attempts be unsuccessful, the item will be returned back to me where a 2nd delivery charge will become applicable. Do ensure that a correct contact telephone number is provided as this is required to complete your booking with the carrier.

✿ It is the BUYERS responsibility to request insurance which covers for the FULL final selling price of the item as the standard level of cover is normally £20-£50 therefore should you not cover for the full cost then the amount recovered should there be a loss or damage in transit would only be this amount only. Should the need to claim for insurance due to damages to your item in transit, details will be forwarded onto you to file the claim, I will of course assist as much as I possibly can.

✿ Sadly NO personal collections from my home due to an aggressive situation with a previous buyer therefore as I share my home with my children - their safety is paramount so sorry, no collections. However, I understand that you may live very close by to me so am happy to arrange to meet in a public place near my home.

✿ Please make contact within 24 hrs of listing end and kindly pay no later than 2 days of listing end - sorry this is due to the vast numbers of "fun bidders". Unpaid item disputes will be logged automatically after 2 days after auction/listing end and you may lose your right to the item.

✿ Accepted forms of payment is PAYPAL - if you are using e-cheques please allow sufficient time for this to clear with paypal as your item will not be released for dispatch until the e-cheque has cleared. Postal orders in GB sterling and bankers cheques, which again will require bank clearance before your item gets dispatched.

RETURNS & REFUNDS

Please, please take a few minutes to read through my Returns and Refunds policy. I have tried to keep it as fair and as comprehensive as possible, for I am NOT an occasional seller that is out to make a 'quick buck' and to shrug my responsibilities when something goes wrong - be it from something I have neglected to mention or simply because you have changed your mind - so there is no need to fib about your reasons for wishing to return any items purchased through me.

Under the distance selling regulations (UK) every item sold via fixed price and/or best offer format entitles the purchaser to a 14 day cooling off period, this means that should you not require the item for whatever reason, you are within your rights to claim a return/refund.

Please email me in the first instance at oneofakindfinds69@gmail.com preferably earlier rather than later; citing your reasons for returning. Items MUST be in the SAME condition and the SAME packaging as it had left me, and whereby you have taken any remedial actions on said item(s) then you waive the right to a refund/return as it will be deemed you have accepted the item(s) condition and therefore the item(s) ownership has passed onto you.

Otherwise, once granted, all item(s) must be received back no later than 3 working days of approval. - please send your item TRACKED AND INSURED.

Once received, it will be inspected and should there be any evidence to suggest that they have been used whilst in your care, I reserve the right to deduct a nominal charge for fair usage from the funds due back. Of course if it remains in the same condition as it had left me - the total purchase price will be returned.

In all instances the return postage cost remains at the buyers responsibility therefore I do encourage you to ask as many questions as possible BEFORE committing to a bid/purchase as this will cut down the need to return thus would not leave you out of pocket for postage costs.

Should the need for return be an error made by me, again, please email me in the first instance and return the item to me whereby I will refund the entire purchase price and all associated postage costs.
