You are buying a very hard to find vintage 1970's Takara M-41 Walker Bulldog Tank for the 12" Takara GI Joe action figure line. If you collect the older 1970's 12" Takara GI Joe figures (not the newer 12" 1980's Combat Joes a lot of sellers are calling vintage. Yes! there's a big difference!) Then you know how hard to find these items are. You can check out the selling prices of those dressed 1970's Takara GI Joe figures now! They're just amazing! At first, I thought they were priced in Yen :)
Please read the entire description before buying: We got this item from a trade. Previous adult/collector owner said it was only used for display in a glass case. It is in used, not mint condition. It has play wear and scratches. The gun part can be retracted or pushed in for storage (or shipping). The gun part/barrel is loose. The floor inside the turret is there and so are the two turret openings/holes. (I was told years ago these were signs of an original vintage Takara turret, especially the presence of the flooring and/or you can do your own research). The wheels and axles are all there and in good to very good condition. The treads are both there and intact but are tight. You'll have to push the tank down hard on carpet to make the treads and wheels roll. I'd also like to mention that somebody applied brown or reddish markings around the gun opening/holder and on the molded shovel (black paint too) and pry bar. Also there's a couple outline of "stenciled blue stars" added. The previous owner was suggesting paint thinner or mineral spirits to clean them off but I'll leave the cleaning to the new owner. I'm selling the item the same way we received it. As is, no cleaning or modifications done.
