C1810 ANTIQUE ENGLISH PORCELAIN CHOCOLATE CUP SAUCER FLIGHT BARR WORCESTER DERBY

Description

A good antique English porcelain twin handled chocolate cup & saucer with cover.
Decorated with ornate gilt, red and green scrolling designs before a peach ground.
All decoration has been painted by hand.
Possibly Flight Barr Worcester.
Dates C1800-1810.

Size & Weight

Cup measures 8.5cm 3 1/2" tall.

Weight 470 grams.

Marks & Back stamps

Unmarked.

Condition

Displays very well.
Restoration to area of cup with over painted on inside of cup (see pic), and to a lesser extent of outside of cup (white ground and gilt only), hairline still partially visible.
Small restorations to underside rim of lid.
Decoration generally in good order with wear most prominent on the rims.
