Psyllium Husk Powder is made from the seeds of the ‘Plantago ovata’ plant, which provides a seed with an outer covering rich in both soluble and insoluble fibres. Fibre has been proven to increase satiety as well as being essential for healthy digestion, yet it is surprisingly common for many diets to be low in this dietary material.

Psyllium Husks themselves are a highly concentrated source of fibre, and when ground into powder form, they are made extremely easy to supplement with. When finely ground, Sevenhills Wholefoods’ product disperses more easily in liquid than the husks alone, and becomes much easier to drink.

Studies and clinical reports suggest that Psyllium may enhance the sensation of fullness and reduce hunger cravings. For these reasons, incorporating Psyllium and other sources of fibre into the diet may aid weight-loss.

Psyllium Husk Powder is known for its soluble and insoluble fibre.
