New York: Harcourt, Brace and Company, 1946. First edition, first printing. About Near Fine in like dust jacket with publisher's price of $1.75 intact and lacking mention of "Printed in the USA" on rear flap. Previous owner name to front free end paper; light thumbing to pages. Gilt title stamping to spine is mostly gone. The dust jacket is lightly rubbed, with light edge wear and a short closed tear at the rear flap fold along the top edge. A nice example of the Art Bremer designed dust jacket.
