PROGRAMMING SECTION
This type of vehicle requires you to have 2 (TWO) existing keys that start
the vehicle in order to program this key yourself. If you currently only
have 1 (one) key (or zero), you will NOT be able to program this key yourself - it
will need to be programmed by a dealer or qualified locksmith. Many
dealerships do it for free as a courtesy. If your dealer does charge a
fee, keep in mind locksmiths usually charge much less to stay
competitive. This is why it’s a good idea to have three keys that will
start the vehicle at all times.
