Replica gas tank has a fuel capacity of 2.4 US gallons.
Tank is for EFI models. Existing fuel pump gasket can be
reused. Check the tank for flaws and fit before painting. The tank
requires sanding and primer. Do not grind or sand the seams or joints.
It is suggested to pressure test and use a tank sealer. Clean the inside
of the tank. We suggest using Kreem gas tank combo kit to clean,
condition and seal to help stop leaks and prevent corrosion.

The fuel pump mount screw threads are 10-24 UNC. Order gas cap
separately.
WILL COME IN BARE METAL AND WILL REQUIRE SOME SURFACE PREPARATION PRIOR TO PRIMING AND PAINTING. SPORTSTER TANKS LIKE THIS ONE WITH THE LONG MOUNTING TABS WILL NEED TO BE ADJUSTED FOR LEVEL TO SUIT YOUR PARTICULAR BIKE. THE LONG MOUNTING TABS CAN BE BUMPED SLIGHTLY OUT OF POSITION DURING SHIPPING. THOROUGHLY CHECK, AND ADJUST YOUR TANK AND MOUNT BRACKET FOR LEVEL PRIOR TO PAINTING OR MODIFYING.
